02/04/11 Sees the arrival of a Yamaha XTZ750 Super Tenere (which prompted the hasty finishing of the Cadburys Boost bike). I can't believe I'm typing this but the idea was a quick refresh and enjoy the summer riding it. Fast forward to October... |

10/10/11 A few jobs have been completed. It now has new tyres and a chain and sprocket set, and the suspension has been raised 30mm with some new dog bones and dropping the forks through the yokes. |

| 15/12/11 Had the bike running but it wouldn't go in gear as the clutch was stuck. Jamming it in gear whilst sitting on a slope and riding off did work, but as the clutch wouldn't disengage it didn't seem like a particularly practical way of riding. A strip down of the clutch revealed gummed up plates so a quick clean and an oil change got it going again but the clutch is still dragging so a new set of plates may be the solution. |

| 23/01/12 Had an unexpected jolt of enthusiasm this weekend and decided to get stuck in and start stripping the Super10 down. Got as far as removing some bodywork and the silencer then hit a brick wall with the down pipes. The collars are well and truly stuck on the studs and using the biggest hammer and lever in the tool box is proving fruitless. I'm currently soaking everything in all manner of oil every evening but I can only see it ending in tears as one stud has freed up but its brother looks like its on the verge of snapping... |
