We will be closed from Saturday June 4th until Monday June 13th. Orders will not be processed during this time.

Terms and Conditions

GENERAL

1) These terms and conditions are subject to change so please read thoroughly before ordering.

2) We apologise if there are any discrepancies due to typo errors on this site and reserve the right to correct them without notice. We are not obliged to sell items at mis-marked prices or that have been discontinued by the manufacturer. Every effort is made to keep the site up to date and accurate but in some cases we can only give you the information that has been given to us.

3) The contract between yourself and Ashton's Accessories begins when the item is shipped, until this time no contract between Ashton's Accessories Ltd and yourself exists. You have 7 days after delivery to cancel this contract in writing or by email. Any email you receive from us is an acknowledgment of your order and not an acceptance of a contract. 

4) All prices include VAT where applicable. There is no VAT on crash helmets or children's clothing.

5) You will need to create an account to redeem Discount Coupons at checkout.

1) What information do we collect? 

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order or subscribe to our newsletter. 

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address or phone number. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

2) What do we use your information for? Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways: 

To personalize your experience (so you don't have to fill in your details more than once).

To process transactions

To send periodic emails (if subscribed)

Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.

The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.

3) How do we protect your information? 

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. 

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information

We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart.

5) Do we disclose any information to outside parties? 

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. We would only release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.

This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website and not to information collected offline.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page. 

 

DELIVERY

1) In stock items will be dispatched as soon as humanly possible, please feel free to call and check availability.

2) Approximate turnaround is 2-7 working days for items in stock. Items not in stock will take a couple of days longer as we have to get them in from the distributor.

3) Orders will be processed during our regular opening hours only (see opening times), please allow for this when placing time sensitive orders such as gifts for Birthdays, Weddings and Bar Mitzvahs.

4) Most items are sent via courier and will require a signature. We do not despatch or deliver on a Saturday.

5) Please contact us if your location is not in the shipping dropdown at checkout. If you are ordering from outside the UK mainland you may be liable for further import duties or taxes, this is your responsiblity so please check first.

6) FREE delivery on orders over £99.99 is for UK Mainland only. Normal carriage fees apply to all other destinations.

7) Standard carriage for mainland UK is £5.99 for orders under £99.99. For UK offshore and Scottish Highlands there is an additional £5.99 carriage surcharge and delivery may take longer.

8) Depending on the size and weight of the item it may be sent via courier and will require a signature, if there is no one available to sign the item may be returned to the depot for collection. If you have any specific delivery requirements such as leaving with a neigbour or safe place, please let us know. 

 

RETURNS

1) We are not unreasonable people and will do all we can to resolve any issues that may arise. Please email or call 01903 202120.

2) If you wish to return an item, please inform us via email or letter within 7 working days of delivery.

3) Returned goods must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt and in unused/unworn condition (with original packaging where possible), within 7 working days of delivery.

4) If goods are being returned due to an error or fault we will reimburse your postage costs, please include a receipt. In all other instances you are responsible for any carriage costs.

5) If you are exchanging an item for another size you are responsible for the return carriage and there may be an additional outbound charge.

6) Returned goods should be sent recorded delivery or by courier as a signature is required as proof of delivery. We cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.

7) Due to safety reasons helmets are non-returnable unless there is a manufacturers fault so please ensure you have the correct size. We would advise you not to purchase helmets without trying them on first.

8) Refunds will only be credited to the original card used to purchase the goods. Refunds may take up to 7 days to appear in your account.
