Terms and Conditions

GENERAL

1) These terms and conditions are subject to change so please read thoroughly before ordering.

2) We apologise if there are any discrepancies due to typo errors on this site and reserve the right to correct them without notice. We are not obliged to sell items at mis-marked prices or that have been discontinued by the manufacturer. Every effort is made to keep the site up to date and accurate but in some cases we can only give you the information that has been given to us.

3) Sometimes the same item is made by several manufacturers, in some cases the item you receive may be branded differently to the picture on the website.

4) We will send you a confirmation email of your order, until this time, no contract between Ashton's Accessories Ltd and yourself exists. You have 7 days after delivery to cancel this contract in writing or by email.

5) All prices include VAT where applicable. There is no VAT on crash helmets or children's clothing.

6) All dimensions where given are approximate.

YOUR DETAILS/PAYMENT

1) Your details will not be shared with any third party and will only be used by Ashton's for marketing purposes if you have given your consent.

2) All Payments on this site are handled by the romancart.com shopping cart and HSBC secure payment. All sensitive data transmissions are encrypted using SSL encryption.

3) Payment is not taken at time of order, only when the item is dispatched (unless PayPal express checkout is used).

4) Your payment details are stored on Roman Carts secure server only and are deleted after 7 days. If we are giving a refund after a 7 day period we will need to contact you for card details.

DELIVERY

1) In stock items will be dispatched as soon as humanly possible, if an item is out of stock we will advise you via email (with an approximate delivery date), at which point we will give you the opportunity to cancel your order if you just cant wait any longer. Please feel free to call and check availability.

2) Approximate turnaround is 3-7 working days for items in stock. Items not in stock will take a couple of days longer as we have to get them in from the distributor.

3) Orders will be processed during our regular opening hours only (see opening times), please allow for this when placing time sensitive orders such as gifts for Birthdays, Weddings and Bar Mitzvahs.

4) Most items are sent via courier and will require a signature. We do not despatch or deliver on a Saturday.

5) For your security the registered address of the card used to make payment will need to match the delivery address. If you want your purchase delivered to a different address, please leave this in the additional details box.

6) Please contact us if your location is not in the shipping dropdown at checkout. If you are ordering from outside the UK mainland you may be liable for further import duties or taxes, this is your responsibly so please check first.

RETURNS

1) We are not unreasonable people and will do all we can to resolve any issues that may arise. Please email or call 01903 202120.

2) If you wish to return an item, please inform us via email or letter within 7 working days of delivery.

3) Returned goods must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt and in unused/unworn condition (with original packaging where possible), within 7 working days of delivery.

4) If goods are being returned due to an error or fault we will reimburse your postage costs, please include a receipt. In all other instances you are responsible for any carriage costs.

5) If you are exchanging an item for another size you are responsible for the return carriage and there may be an additional outbound charge.

6) Returned goods should be sent recorded delivery or by courier as a signature is required as proof of delivery. We cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.

7) Due to safety reasons helmets are non-returnable unless there is a manufacturers fault so please ensure you have the correct size. We would advise you not to purchase helmets without trying them on first.

8) Refunds will only be credited to the original card used to purchase the goods. Refunds may take up to 7 days to appear in your account.
